FAQ’s

Looking for answers about your spray tan? You’re in the right place! Whether it’s your first time booking a mobile spray tan or you’re a seasoned pro, I’ve put together some of the most commonly asked questions to help you feel confident and prepared. From how to get the best results to what to expect during your appointment, this FAQ page covers everything you need to know.

Before Your Tan

How should I prepare for my spray tan?

For the best results:
Exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment.
Avoid using oily moisturisers, deodorants, or perfumes before your session.
Wear loose, dark clothing to prevent rubbing after your tan.

Can I shave or wax before my tan?

Yes, but do it at least 24 hours before your tan to avoid irritation and ensure an even application.

What should I wear during my spray tan?

You can wear whatever you feel comfortable in—most clients opt for a strapless bra, bikini, or underwear. For bodybuilding tans, minimal coverage is recommended to match competition guidelines.

After Your Tan

How long should I wait before showering?

Wait 6-8 hours for a standard tan or 2-4 hours for an express tan. Avoid sweating or getting wet during this time.

What should I wear after my spray tan?

Loose, dark clothing is best. Avoid tight bras, leggings, or jeans that could rub against your tan.

Will my spray tan stain my clothes or bedding?

Some initial transfer can occur, but it washes out of most fabrics. Using dark sheets or towels can help prevent stains.

Longevity & Maintenance

How long will my spray tan last?

Your tan should last 5-7 days with proper care. For bodybuilding tans, the depth and longevity depend on skin prep and competition guidelines.

How can I make my tan last longer?

Moisturise daily with an oil-free lotion.
– Avoid long hot showers, exfoliation, and chlorinated pools.
– Pat skin dry instead of rubbing after a shower.

Will my spray tan fade evenly?

Yes, with proper prep and aftercare, your tan should fade naturally. Keeping skin hydrated helps prevent patchiness.

Can I get a spray tan if I’m pregnant?
